So many things in our lives have been disrupted by technology (all hail Uber!!). But the impact technology has had on our love lives is profound. I was having a chat with a colleague the other day about how it’s impossible to find a date without an app like Tinder and it’s very true. Whatever stage of a relationship you’re in there’s an app for it, trust me I’ve done the research and put together a list of six apps that help, or maybe not, with relationships.
Happy Couple This is an app that a friend introduced me to. She is in a long distance relationship and uses the app to stay in touch with her boyfriend. The app is a fun quiz-style game to discover what your partner is really thinking. Each day, you answer 5 new questions for your partner, then for yourself and see what answers match, or rather, which ones that don’t.
Feeld This used to be called 3inder and was something I read about a lot time ago. It’s basically an app for couples that are in somewhat more ‘open’ relationships than others and are looking for a third person to introduce into the bedroom. Singles can also use the app but I am pretty sure that it’s a recipe for a disaster for couples.
Wingman Launching this summer, Wingman is an app that allows you to meet people as you travel the world – even on the plane. So if you travel alone a lot and are left feeling lonely, you might find yourself some friends, or even a romance. Be warned that you might end up in a long-distance relationship and that can be pretty tricky.
Fix A Fight It doesn’t matter how much you love your significant other, you fight and they’re pretty fucking hard to fix. Fix a Fight guides you through steps to help you and your partner repair your relationship after a fight. This is something I will deffo be downloading myself…
